Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

That Reco App ("the app") helps you find a movie or TV show based on your mood. This page explains what data is and isn't collected when you use it.

No accounts, no personal data collection

There is no sign-up, login, or user account of any kind. The app doesn't ask for your name, email, or any other personal information, and doesn't store your mood picks, search history, or shortlist anywhere on a server — everything you choose exists only in your browser session while you're using the app.

Analytics

The app uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It reports aggregate usage information such as page views and general visit counts, and does not use cookies or track individual users across sites.

Movie and TV data

Recommendations, posters, and details are provided by TMDB (The Movie Database). Requests to TMDB are routed through the app's own server so that your device never contacts TMDB directly. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

No data sold or shared

The app does not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties, because no personal data is collected in the first place.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, since it collects no personal information at all.
